“(Re)Inventing Destiny” is a documentary that follows the lives of Janeth and Hugo, two immigrants, who were forced to leave their respective countries in Latin America.

After facing different challenges and struggles, these individuals from different generations managed to integrate and create a new life in the City of Calgary.

The documentary follows their daily lives, reflecting upon the past and the steps that eventually allow them to find their niche in society and contribute to both their communities and Canadian society. (Re) Inventing Destiny was funded 100% by Omni Television.
